The MALCA (Memphis Area Lactation Consultant Association), SCBC (Shelby County Breastfeeding Coalition), and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital are delighted to host our biannual
“Breastfeeding Update 2010 – Prevention at Its Finest” in Memphis, August 4, 2010
this year with the world renowned, Dr. Miriam Labbok. Dr. Labbok is a leader and researcher in preventive medicine, infant feeding, and maternal and global health. We are honored that she is coming to spend 1 1/2 days with us in Memphis during World Breastfeeding Week! Dr. Labbok is a Professor of the Practice of Public Health, Director of the Carolina Global Breastfeeding Institute, in the Department of Maternal and Child Health, Gillings School of Global Public Health, at UNC Chapel Hill. Our conference will also highlight some “Local Heroes” from right here in Shelby County!
In an effort to be environmentally-friendly, while getting the word out widely and quickly, please distribute the attached brochure to all of your contacts.
