Motherhood: The New Reality Show (One-time fee of $10 for as many group sessions as you care to attend)
An ongoing support class/group for new moms, most Mondays from 11:30 am – 1 pm
Bring the baby, pack a lunch and join other new moms as we brainstorm tips on infant care and surviving motherhood. We will discuss coping strategies for the developmental milestones of infants, provide lactation support, offer suggestions for transitioning back to work and share resources for staying home full-time.
This class/support group is targeted to moms who are 2 – 12 weeks post-delivery, however, any new mother is welcome as often as you like. Classes are facilitated by Joan Levy, RN, MSN, Lactation Consultant. Often Duke Pediatricians/Residents are able to join us.
